Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet ein neues Verfahren, abgenützte Fäsenbahnschienen wieder gebrauchsfähig herzustellen. Bisher war es unmöglich, die durch den Gebrauch an ihren Köpfen ausgefransten und abgeplatteten Stahlschienen durch Nachwalzen wieder in brauchbaren Zustand zu bringen, da diese Fransen ausserordentlich zähe sind, indem sie sich gleichsam durch einen Kaltwalzprocess bilden. Da man die Schienen behufs des Umwalzens nicht wieder der Schweisshitze aussetzen kann, so vereinigen sich die Fransen nicht vollkommen mit den abgeplatteten Theilon der Schienenköpfe, so dass
