UN ELECTRODO CON EVOLUCION DE OXIGENO REDUCIDA DURANTE LA ELECTROLISIS DE SOLUCIONES QUE CONTIENEN HALOGENO A BAJO PH, COMPRENDIENDO EL ELECTRODO UN SUSTRATO METALICO ELECTRICAMENTE CONDUCTOR TENIENDO UN RECUBRIMIENTO DE ESTABILIDAD MEJORADA BAJO CONDICIONES ALCALINAS, EL REVESTIMIENTO COMPRENDE ENTE 15 Y 25, MOLES POR CIENTO DE OXIDO DE IRIDIO, 35-50 MOLES POR CIENTO DE OXIDO DE RUTENIO Y ENTRE 30 Y 45, MOLES POR CIENTO DE OXIDO DE TITANIO, SOBRE LA BASE DE 100 MOLES POR CIENTO DE ESTOS OXIDOS PRESENTES EN EL REVESTIMIENTO, TIENE UNA RELACION MOLAR DE OXIDO DE TITANIO AL TOTALDE LOS OXIDOS DE IRIDIO Y RUTENIO MENOR QUE 1:1, SIENDO LA RELACION MOLAR DE OXIDO DE RUTENIO A OXIDO DE IRIDIO MAYOR QUE 1,5:1 Y HASTA 3:1.
