Abstract

Un aparato (100) para cortar transversalmente un cuerpo tubular (1) de grosor (t) comprende un marco base (2) sobre el cual dos cilindros paralelos (10) se montan horizontalmente y se disponen para ser accionados de manera rotatoria en una misma dirección de rotación, formando de esta manera un soporte (17) dispuesto para soportar y rotar el cuerpo tubular (1). Un cabezal de corte (31) se dispone encima del soporte (17), que incluye un soporte móvil (35) que se dispone para que se lo acerque o se aleje más del soporte (17), y que soporta una hoja circular rotatoria (32) dispuesta para cortar el grosor (t) del cuerpo tubular rotatorio (1) mientras se lo va acercando al soporte (17). Con el fin de estabilizar el cuerpo tubular (1) en el soporte (17), un rodillo adjunto inactivo o de posicionamiento (40) se dispone entre el soporte (10) y el eje de rotación (33) de la hoja (32), dicho rodillo (40) montado de manera rotatoria a un brazo (42) que se conecta de manera movible al soporte móvil (35) por medio de un miembro elástico o de fuerza constante (44) de tal manera que, cuando el cabezal de corte (31) desciende hacia el soporte (17), el rodillo (40) entra en contacto con la superficie del cuerpo tubular (1) y después permanece en esa posición mientras la hoja (32) continúa descendiendo hacia el cuerpo tubular (1) y finalmente alcanza y corta el cuerpo tubular (1), que se mueve a una posición (B), en la que la distancia (D₂) del rodillo adjunto (40) del soporte (17) es más corta que la distancia (D₂) de la hoja (32) desde el soporte (17) por una cantidad predeterminada (d) que es al menos igual al grosor (t) del cuerpo tubular (1).
