Abstract

La presente solicitud se refiere a colecciones de polímeros aleatorios y polímeros específicos que se pueden usar, por ejemplo, para estabilizar composiciones de proteína en alta concentración, tales como composiciones de anticuerpo en alta concentración. Reivindicación 1: Una colección de polímeros aleatorios que comprende una mezcla de polímeros, en donde la colección comprende polímeros que comprenden al menos tres monómeros elegidos de: a. metacrilato de metilo (MMA), b. metacrilato de oligo(etilenglicol) metil éter (OEGMA), c. metacrilato de isobutilo (IBMA) o metacrilato de butilo (BMA), y d. un compuesto de la fórmula (1), en donde R¹ es O o NH, R² es metilo, etilo, propilo o butilo, y R³ es NH₂ o N(CH₃)₂ o un grupo guanidinio, en donde la colección comprende polímeros de 3 a 20 kDa. Reivindicación 57: Un método para reducir la viscosidad y/o inhibir la precipitación de una composición que contiene proteína, que comprende agregar un polímero aleatorio de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 27 - 49 a la composición, opcionalmente en donde la composición comprende la proteína y/o excipientes de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 50 - 56. Reivindicación 58: Un método para preparar una colección de polímeros aleatorios de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 26 o un polímero aleatorio de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 27 - 49, en donde el método comprende transferencia de cadena de adición-fragmentación reversible (RAFT), polimerización de radicales libres (FRP) o polimerización de radicales por transferencia de átomos (ATRP). Reivindicación 59: Un método para preparar una colección de polímeros aleatorios de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 26 o un polímero aleatorio de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 27 - 49, en donde el método comprende: exponer los monómeros a luz LED y/o calor en presencia de un catalizador de tetrafenilporfirina de zinc (ZnTPP) y un agente de transferencia de cadena.
