Abstract

Un material de acero inoxidable dúplex que tiene excelente resistencia a la corrosión general y resistencia a la corrosión por picadura en un ambiente corrosivo supercrítico en el cual se encuentran contenidos gas SOX y gas O₂ en un gas CO₂ supercrítico. Un material de acero inoxidable dúplex de la presente divulgación tiene la composición química descrita en la descripción, y en el material de acero inoxidable dúplex, con una condición previa de que el contenido de cada elemento se encuentra dentro de un rango descrito en la descripción, Fn definida por la fórmula (1) es de 57.0 o más, y un número total de sulfuros de Mn por 1 mm² con un diámetro circular equivalente de 1.0 mm o más y sulfuros de Ca con un diámetro circular equivalente de 2.0 mm o más es de 0.50 /mm² o menos.
