Abstract
La presente invención se sitúa en el campo de la ingeniería de materiales y nanotecnología. Más específicamente, la invención describe un preparado de nanopartículas de tántalo, su uso, y un proceso para su obtención por trituración, o sea, un proceso top down. El preparado de nanopartículas de la invención resuelve estos y otros problemas y tiene composición, pureza, perfil granulométrico definido y área superficial específica elevada, siendo útil en una variedad de aplicaciones. La invención también revela un proceso para la obtención de nanopartículas de especies minerales conteniendo Tántalo, mediante trituración controlada y sin reacciones químicas o contaminaciones con reactivos típicos de la síntesis de nanopartículas. La presente invención, en amplio contraste al estado de la técnica, proporciona la obtención en larga escala de nanopartículas de pentóxido de tántalo con elevada pureza, perfil granulométrico determinado y muy elevada área superficial específica, viabilizando en la práctica su uso en diversas aplicaciones industriales.
