Abstract

La invención se refiere a una pieza moldeada o un recubrimiento que contienen por lo menos un biopolímero o que están formados por al menos un biopolímero. El biopolímero es un preparado de fibras que está producido de pulpa de frutos de macauba y que presenta un contenido de fibras mayor que 30% en masa, en forma preferida mayor que 35% en masa, así como un contenido de grasa menor que 8% en masa. Este biopolímero es apropiado como sustituto pleno de polímeros a base de petróleo y al mismo tiempo es biológicamente degradable.
