Abstract
La presente provee una composición que comprende un cultivo biológicamente puro de una cepa de Paenibacillus sp, que comprende un DegU mutante que carece de un dominio receptor funcional o un dominio de unión a ADN funcional y/o un DegS mutante que carece de un dominio de unión simple funcional o un dominio ATPasa funcional con viscosidad reducida en un cultivo líquido. También se provee un método para identificar una cepa del derivado mutante de Paenibacillus sp. con viscosidad reducida en un cultivo líquido en comparación con una cepa parental de Paenibacillus sp. con un cribado visual para aislados mutantes con una morfología no mucoide. Reivindicación 37: Un método para tratar una planta para controlar una enfermedad, en donde el método comprende aplicar una cantidad efectiva de una composición de acuerdo con una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 15 o un producto de fermentación de acuerdo con la reivindicación 35 ó 36 a la planta, a una parte de la planta. y/o a un locus de la planta.
