Abstract

La presente divulgación proporciona una composición. En una forma de realización, la composición incluye (A) de 85% en peso a 99% en peso de un polímero a base de olefina y (B) de 15% en peso a 1% en peso de un eliminador de olores. El eliminador de olores es una mezcla de (i) partículas de óxido de zinc y (ii) ionómero de zinc. Las partículas de óxido de zinc tienen un tamaño de partícula D₅₀ que va de 100 nm a 3000 nm, un área superficial que va de 1 m²/g a 9 m²/g y una porosidad menor de 0,020 m³/g. La composición tiene un valor de eliminación de olores de metilmercaptano menor de 70 a 3 días según lo medido de acuerdo con ASTM D5504-12.
