Abstract
La presente se refiere a plantas de cebada que tienen una elevada actividad de a-amilasa. Las plantas de cebada de la misma pueden portar una mutación, por ejemplo, en uno o más promotores de a-amilasa, en el gen HRT, en el gen HBL12 y/o en el gen WRKY38. La presente además provee productos de planta preparados a partir de dichas plantas de cebada.
