Abstract

Se proporciona una composición pesticida que comprende un ácido ribonucleico bicatenario (ARNbc) y un carbohidrato, donde dicho ARNbc es capaz de silenciar genes por iARN y comprende una hebra que es complementaria al menos a parte de una secuencia de nucleótidos de un gen procedente de un organismo que es una plaga de plantas. Reivindicación 18: Un método para controlar un organismo que es una plaga de plantas que comprende aplicar a la planta, a la semilla de una planta, o al emplazamiento de una planta o semilla la composición de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones precedentes. Reivindicación 21: El uso de la composición de acuerdo con las reivindicaciones 1 a 17 para controlar el crecimiento y/o la infestación de la plaga de plantas. Reivindicación 23: Un método para inhibir sustancialmente la producción de nucleasas salivares en una plaga a la que se alimenta con una composición que comprende un ARNbc pesticida al incluir un carbohidrato en la composición.
