Abstract

Los métodos incluyen modificar las propiedades de cristalización de una composición de polímero que comprende una poliolefina con un agente de nucleación con la estructura de fórmula (1), donde R¹ y R² se seleccionan independientemente entre hidrógeno, alquilo, alquenilo o arilo, donde el alquilo, alquenilo o arilo pueden ser sustituidos por uno o más grupos carboxilato y M es un metal seleccionado entre el Grupo I de la Tabla Periódica; o donde R¹ y R² son independientemente hidrógeno, alquilo, alquenilo o arilo con la condición de que al menos uno de R¹ o R² sea una cadena de carbono que tenga de 1 a 12 carbonos con al menos uno de los carbonos en la cadena de carbono covalentemente unido a la poliolefina, y donde el alquilo alquenilo o arilo pueden ser sustituidos por uno o más grupos carboxilato; y M es un metal seleccionado entre el Grupo I de la Tabla Periódica.
