Abstract
Un sistema de frenado para vehículo ferroviario que comprende un freno de estacionamiento (2) provisto de un pistón (12), y que presenta una primera configuración donde dicho pistón está en una posición de trabajo en la cual actúa sobre un soporte de guarnición (32) y aplica un esfuerzo predeterminado sobre un disco de frenado (6); una segunda configuración donde dicho pistón está en una posición de reposo en la cual no actúa sobre dicho soporte, y no aplica ningún esfuerzo sobre dicho disco; y una tercera configuración donde, cuando dicho vehículo no está detenido y la temperatura ambiente en el medio de dicho disco es superior a un valor umbral, fuerza el desplazamiento de dicho pistón hacia una posición fusible diferente de sus posiciones de trabajo y de reposo, para limitar o anular el esfuerzo aplicado sobre dicho disco.
