Abstract
Una proteína tolerante a herbicidas, su gen codificador y su uso, donde la proteína tolerante a herbicidas comprende: a) una proteína que tiene una secuencia de aminoácidos como se muestra en SEQ ID Nº 1; o b) una proteína que se deriva de a) la sustitución y/o la deleción y/o el agregado de uno o más aminoácidos a la secuencia de aminoácidos en a), y tiene la actividad de la tifensulfurón hidrolasa. La proteína tolerante a herbicidas SUM1 puede mostrar una mayor tolerancia a una pluralidad de herbicidas sulfonilureas, puede tolerar la concentración en campo cuatro veces, y por lo tanto tiene una amplia perspectiva de aplicación en plantas.
