Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Una unidad para el suministro de productos agroquímicos a las raíces de una planta, que comprende: i) una o más zonas de desarrollo radicular; ii) opcionalmente, una o más zonas de productos agroquímicos; y iii) un pesticida; donde las zonas de productos agroquímicos se formularon para liberar al menos un producto agroquímico en las zonas de desarrollo radicular en una forma de liberación controlada cuando están hinchadas las zonas de desarrollo radicular; y donde la relación de peso en seco de las zonas de desarrollo radicular respecto de las zonas del producto agroquímico en una unidad seca es de 0,05:1 a 20:1 o donde el volumen total de las zonas de desarrollo radicular en la unidad es de al menos 0,2 ml cuando la unidad está totalmente hinchada. Reivindicación 22: La unidad de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 20, donde el pesticida es un pesticida para plagas del suelo y agentes patógenos que es fluensulfona, propamocarb, flutolanilo, fludioxonilo, abamectina, fluopyram u oxamil. Reivindicación 23: La unidad de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 20, donde el pesticida es imidacloprida o azoxiestrobina. Reivindicación 60: Un método para cultivar una planta, que comprende añadir al menos una unidad de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 60 al medio en el que crece la planta. Reivindicación 61: Un método para reducir el daño ambiental causado por productos agroquímicos, que comprende suministrar los productos agroquímicos a la raíz de una planta mediante la adición de al menos una unidad de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 54 al medio de la planta. Reivindicación 62: Un método para generar una zona artificial con propiedades químicas predeterminadas en la zona radicular de una planta, que comprende: i) añadir una o más unidades al medio de la zona radicular de la planta; o ii) añadir una o más unidades a la zona radicular prevista del medio en el que se prevé que crecerá la planta, donde al menos una de las una o más unidades es como se ha definido en una de las reivindicaciones 1 - 61. Reivindicación 63: Un método para fertilizar una planta que comprende añadir al menos una unidad de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 ó 4 - 61 al medio en el que crece la planta. Reivindicación 64: Un método para proteger una planta de una plaga, que comprende añadir al menos una unidad de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 61 al medio en el que crece la planta.
