Abstract
Un aparato para el tratamiento de un fluido comprende una cámara de fluido y al menos una unidad de luz ultravioleta ubicada en una periferia de la cámara de fluido. La al menos una unidad de luz ultravioleta comprende al menos un diodo emisor de luz ultravioleta y un elemento que dirige la luz ultravioleta. El elemento que dirige la luz ultravioleta está configurado para colimar al menos una parte de la luz emitida por el al menos un diodo emisor de luz ultravioleta en uso, de tal modo que los rayos de luz ultravioleta emitidos desde cada unidad de luz ultravioleta son paralelos en un primer plano. También se describe un método para el enfriamiento de un diodo emisor de luz en un sistema de tratamiento de fluidos.
