Abstract

Una célula que fue modificada genéticamente que comprende: a) una o más secuencias de nucleótidos que codifican una glicerol deshidrogenasa (E.C. 1.1.1.6); b) una o más secuencias de nucleótidos que codifican una dihidroxiacetona quinasa (E.C. 2.7.1.28 o E.C. 2.7.1.29); y c) una o más secuencias de nucleótidos que codifican un transportador de glicerol. Reivindicación 3: Una célula de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 ó 2, caracterizada porque la célula comprende una o más secuencias de ácidos nucleicos que codifican un transportador de glicerol heterólogo representado por la SEQ ID Nº 31 o un homólogo funcional de la SEQ ID Nº 31 que tiene una identidad de secuencia de por lo menos un 60% con la SEQ ID Nº 31. Reivindicación 4: Una célula de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 ó 2, caracterizada porque la célula comprende una o más secuencias de ácidos nucleicos que codifican un transportador de glicerol heterélogo representado por la SEQ ID Nº 29 o un homólogo funcional de la SEQ ID Nº 29 que tiene una identidad de secuencia de por lo menos un 50% con la SEQ ID Nº 29.
