Abstract

Se da a conocer un método para la separación de etano e hidrocarburos más pesados, o de propano e hidrocarburos más pesados, a partir del gas natural, para proporcionar una corriente de gas natural rica en metano y líquidos de gas natural menos volátiles (NGLs). Este método dispone el uso de un medio adsorbente regenerable, el cual se regenera mediante un sistema de calentamiento de microondas. Este paso de regeneración se puede operar como un proceso por lotes, un proceso semi-continuo, o un proceso continuo.
