Abstract

La presente se refiere a la combinación de biopesticidas y a al menos una enzima degradante de la cutícula exógena (por ej., una proteasa, quitinasa, lipasa y/o cutinasa) para controlar (prevenir o eliminar) plagas. El uso de una enzima degradante de la cutícula exógena aumenta la eficacia del biopesticida incrementando la velocidad y/o eficacia de la infestación de la plaga lo que da lugar a una muerte más efectiva y más rápida, o desactivando la plaga por medio del biopesticida. Por consiguiente, la presente solicitud proporciona métodos para controlar una plaga que comprende tratar un hábitat de la plaga con una combinación de cantidades pesticidamente efectivas de al menos un biopesticida y al menos una enzima degradante de la cutícula exógena. También se describen composiciones de control de plagas.
