Abstract
Procedimiento para procesar por centrifugación una emulsión que contiene sólidos formada durante la producción por vía hidrometalúrgica de un metal, teniendo lugar el procesamiento en al menos un decantador (1) para la formación de una primera fase líquida más liviana (5), una segunda fase líquida (6) y una fase de sólidos (7), caracterizado por las siguientes etapas: i) determinar un valor actual de la densidad de la primera fase líquida (5), ii) comparar el valor actual con un valor nominal para la densidad de la primera fase líquida (5), y iii) ajustar la presión de descarga de la primera fase líquida en función de la comparación del valor actual detectado con el valor nominal.
