Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Una disposición para la producción de un alótropo del carbono, que comprende un reactor configurado para utilizar un catalizador para formar el alótropo del carbono a partir de una materia prima de alimentación en una reacción de Bosch y el catalizador, donde el catalizador comprende una superficie metálica áspera. Reivindicación 32: Un método para la formación de nanotubos de carbono, que comprende: formar nanotubos de carbono sobre un catalizador en un reactor usando una reacción de Bosch, en la cual el catalizador comprende una superficie de metal graneado; separar los nanotubos de carbono de un efluente del reactor para formar una corriente de desecho; calentar un gas de alimentación, una corriente de gas de desecho seco, o ambos, con calor de desecho de la corriente de desecho y enfriar la corriente de desecho en un intercambiador de calor a temperatura ambiente para condensar el vapor de agua, formando la corriente de gas de desecho seco.
