Abstract
Método para reducir el contenido de nitrógeno en el gas de oxidación oxigenado de una planta de Claus, por el cual se puede lograr el control de la temperatura en el horno de combustión de una planta de Claus, mediante la combustión de un gas ácido sulfuroso en un horno de combustión de Claus de manera que se obtiene un producto gaseoso que contiene dióxido de azufre, a partir del cual se separa una corriente parcial que, al determinarse por un valor de medición, se recicla para el gas de oxidación oxigenado con el fin de evitar un aumento de temperatura no deseado en el horno de combustión, cuando ocasionalmente un gas ácido que tiene un alto contenido de azufre se alimenta al horno de combustión de una planta de Claus, y al mismo tiempo para lograr una reducción del contenido de nitrógeno en el gas de cola de Claus.
