Abstract
Se publica un método para el control del potencial de oxidación-reducción en tiempo real en un sistema de agua caliente pata inhibir la corrosión en el sistema de agua caliente. El método incluye la definición de una o más zonas protectoras operativas en el sistema de agua caliente. Una o más de las zonas protectoras operativas incluyen una sonda de potencial de oxidación-reducción es decir que se opera para medir un potencial de oxidación-reducción en tiempo real en el sistema de agua caliente a temperatura y presión de operación. La sonda transmite el potencial medido en tiempo real al controlador, el cual evalúa e interpreta el potencial que se transmitió para determinar si está de acuerdo con un marco del potencial de oxidación-reducción. Si el potencial que se midió no está de acuerdo con el marco del potencial de oxidación-reducción, se opera el controlador para alimentar una o más especies químicas activas dentro del sistema de agua caliente.
