Abstract

Se describen los métodos para reducir los niveles de emisiones durante períodos de desajuste, tales como el arranque para uso con un sistema de desulfuración por depuración en seco. Un polvo de hidróxido de calcio se inyecta en el circuito de flujo de gas y se hidrata en el absorbente secador por atomización. El polvo resultante hidratado se deposita luego sobre las bolsas de filtro en la cámara de filtros. Esto se puede realizar a temperaturas inferiores a las que el absorbente secador por atomización de otro modo sería operable, de manera tal que permite que la desulfuración ocurra más temprano en el proceso de combustión, tal como durante el arranque de un sistema de combustión en frío a temperatura ambiente.
