Abstract
Un adaptador de energía eléctrica que incorpora una celda de combustible para proporcionar energía alternativa a un dispositivo portátil cuando no se dispone de corriente eléctrica. El adaptador incluye fichas eléctricas configuradas para conectarse con un toma de suministro de energía eléctrica; un circuito convertidor de energía que tiene una entrada acoplada a las fichas eléctricas para convertir la energía eléctrica en un suministro de menor voltaje; una energía eléctrica de salida de suministro de menor voltaje; y una celda de combustible accionablemente acoplada a dicha energía eléctrica de salida. El adaptador tiene un puerto de conexión fluida para acoplar una salida de combustible fluido de un cartucho de combustible a una entrada de combustible de la celda de combustible y el puerto de conexión fluida está dispuesto en una cara del adaptador, a partir de la cual se extienden las fichas eléctricas. Una válvula del cartucho de combustible es operable por enganche con las fichas eléctricas del adaptador.
