Abstract
Cargador de batería de alta eficiencia(100), que comprende: un primer transformador (104) para producir una corriente de carga y que tiene una primera salida para acoplar la corriente de carga a una batería agotada; un segundo transformador (106) para producir una corriente de mantenimiento inferior a la corriente de carga, que tiene una segunda salida para acoplar la corriente de mantenimiento a una batería cargada; un circuito de alimentación de energía (112) que tiene una entrada para conectarse a una fuente de energía y una salida conectada al respectivo del primer y el segundo transformador; caracterizado por el hecho de que comprende además un circuito de control (116) que tiene una entrada acoplada a la primera y segunda salidas y una salida acoplada al circuito de alimentación de energía (112), donde el circuito de control se configura para detectar una batería agotada para obligar al circuito de alimentación de energía a alimentar energía al primer transformador mientras deshabilita el segundo transformador y para detectar una batería cargada para obligar al circuito de alimentación de energía a alimentar energía al segundo transformador mientras deshabilita el primer transformador.
