Abstract

Dispositivo de iluminación portátil, tal como una linterna, con un interruptor de alimentación mecánico y múltiples modos de operación. El interruptor de alimentación mecánico se dispone en serie con el controlador para el dispositivo de iluminación y actúa como la interfaz de usuario al controlador para cambiar los modos de operación. Como el interruptor de alimentación mecánico en serie con el controlador, el dispositivo de iluminación portátil no consume energía de la batería cuando está abierto el interruptor mecánico. Un dispositivo de estado acoplado al controlador es consultado por éste cada vez que se enciende para determinar el modo de operación del dispositivo de iluminación. Se usa un circuito regulador para alimentar un controlador y fuente de luz. El circuito regulador convierte entre regulación de corriente y regulación de tensión.
