Abstract
Un proceso de recuperación de metales preciosos en el que un material de alimentación sulfuroso ácido se somete a una oxidación a presión ácida y un material de alimentación sulfuroso alcalino se somete a una oxidación a presión alcalina, con los barros de descarga de los procesos de oxidación a presión combinados para reducir los requisitos de neutralización antes de la recuperación de metales preciosos.Reivindicación 1: Un proceso caracterizado porque comprende: (a) oxidar a presión, a un pH menor que pH 6,5, un material de alimentación que genera ácidos que comprende un metal valioso y azufre como sulfuro para formar un barro de descarga ácido que comprende azufre como sulfato y que tiene un primer pH menor que pH 6,5; (b) oxidar a presión, a un pH de al menos pH 6,5, un material de alimentación que consume ácidos que comprende un metal valioso y azufre como sulfuro para formar un barro de descarga alcalino que comprende azufre como sulfato y que tiene un segundo pH de al menos pH 6,5; y (c) combinar los barros de descarga ácido y alcalino para proporcionar un barro de descarga combinado que tiene un tercer pH mayor que el primer pH y menor que el segundo pH. Reivindicación 25: Un método caracterizado porque comprende: proporcionar una solución de lixiviación acuosa que comprende un agente lixiviante; pasar la solución de lixiviación acuosa a través de un filtro de membrana para formar una fracción retenida acuosa que comprende al menos la mayor parte del agente lixiviante y una fracción permeada acuosa que comprende parte del agente lixiviante; reciclar la fracción retenida hacia un paso de lixiviación; destruir al menos la mayor parte del agente lixiviante en la fracción permeada acuosa para formar una corriente de reciclo acuosa sustancialmente libre del agente lixiviante; y reciclar la corriente de reciclo acuosa a una operación unitaria aguas arriba del paso de lixiviación.
