Abstract
Seleccion mejorada del o los métodos de posicionamiento utilizados para obtener informacion de posicionamiento que responde a una solicitud de posicionamiento, enfocando la QoS de posicionamiento holísticamente. Visto en forma holística, la métrica de QoS conjunta como se ensena en la presente toma en cuenta el efecto conjunto de los parámetros de QoS individuales asociados con un método de posicionamiento, o el efecto conjunto de multiples métodos en una secuencia. El procesamiento en una o más realizaciones incluye, de este modo, determinar una métrica de QoS conjunta para cada una de una pluralidad de métodos o secuencias de posicionamiento candidatos, y seleccionar un método o una secuencia de posicionamiento sobre la base de esas métricas de QoS conjuntas. Al seleccionar un método o secuencia de posicionamiento de esta manera, que se basa holísticamente en la métrica de QoS conjunta más que en un enfoque poco sistemático basado en el control uno a uno mediante parámetros de QoS individuales, la seleccion procede en forma flexible de acuerdo con los requerimientos reales de QoS de los servicios que se basan en la posicion y/o sistemáticamente de acuerdo con el efecto conjunto de multiples métodos de posicionamiento.
