Abstract
La invencion se relaciona con un proceso y aparato (1) para transferir calor de un primer medio relativamente frío a un segundo medio relativamente caliente, que comprende un rotor hermético al gas (4) montado de manera giratoria en una estructura (2), y, montado dentro del rotor (4), un compresor (10), un primer intercambiador de calor (8) para transferir calor del fluido al segundo medio y ubicado relativamente lejos del eje de rotacion del rotor (4), una cámara de expansion (11) para expandir el fluido, y un canal (14) para transportar el fluido expandido de la cámara de expansion (11) al compresor (10), en donde el primer intercambiador de calor (8) se aísla térmicamente del canal (14).
