Abstract
Se describen un método y un aparato para llevar a cabo un cambio de celda en un canal compartido del enlace descendente a alta velocidad (HS-DSCH) en servicio, de una celda de origen a una celda objetivo. Un controlador de red de radio (RNC) puede precargar una unidad de transmision/recepcion inalámbrica (WTRU) con la configuracion del HS-DSCH para la celda objetivo. La WTRU recibe y almacena la configuracion del HS-DSCH precargada. La WTRU puede comenzar a monitorear un canal de control compartido a alta velocidad (HS-SCCH) en la celda objetivo, utilizando la configuracion del HS-DSCH precargada para la celda objetivo, con la condicion de que se dispare un informe de medicion como resultado del evento ID. La WTRU puede hacer arrancar un temporizador cuando la WTRU comienza a monitorear el HS-SCCH en la celda objetivo y detener el monitoreo del HS-SCCH en la celda objetivo cuando expira el lapso indicado en el temporizador.
