Abstract
Un método y un aparato para la operacion de recepcion discontinua (DRX) en una unidad de recepcion/transmision inalámbrica alinean transmisiones por el enlace ascendente y por el enlace descendente con un ciclo de DRX. La transmision puede ser un reporte indicador de la calidad del canal, una senal de referencia sonora o una descriptora de silencio, entre otras transmisiones por el enlace ascendente y por el enlace descendente.
