Abstract

Un proceso para preparar una composicion de alcoxilato, dicho proceso incluye las siguientes etapas: (a) introducir en el sistema reactor uno o más compuestos con uno o más átomos de hidrogeno activo, seleccionados del grupo de ácidos alcanoicos, amidas alcanoicas, etanolamidas alcanoicas, alcoholes y alquilmercaptanos, y un catalizador cianuro de metal doble; (b) El contacto de uno o más compuestos con uno o más átomos de hidrogeno activo y un catalizador cianuro de metal doble con un oxido de propileno y/u oxido de butileno para formar una primera mezcla de producto, que incluye compuestos formados por adicion de uno o más oxidos de propileno y/o unidades de oxido de butileno a un compuesto con uno o más átomos de hidrogeno activo, y catalizador DMC; (c) Poner en contacto la primera mezcla de producto con oxido de etileno para formar una segunda mezcla de producto que incluye compuestos formados por adicion de una o más unidades de oxido de etileno a compuestos formados en la etapa (b), y catalizador DMC. Asimismo, una composicion alcoxilada que incluye un alcohol que reacciono con uno o más equivalentes molares de PO y posteriormente uno o más equivalentes molares de EO.
