Abstract

Proteínas aislado células y plantas que expresan el OsSIK1 para generar un aumento de la tolerancia al estrés. También anticuerpos y métodos para identificar agentes que mejoran el nivel de expresion del OsSIK1. Reivindicacion 1: Un ácido nucleico de OsSIK1 aislado que comprende (a) una secuencia de nucleotidos establecida como SEC ID NO: 1; (b) un ácido nucleico que se hibrida específicamente al complemento de la SEC ID NO: 1 en condiciones de hibridacion estrictas; (c) un marco de lectura abierto (ORF) de un gen que codifica una proteína de OsSIK1, en donde el marco de lectura abierto comprende los nucleotidos 57-3056 de la SEC ID NO: 1; (d) una secuencia de nucleotidos que codifica una proteína de OsSIK1 que comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos establecida como SEC ID NO: 2; (e) una secuencia de nucleotidos complementaria a la de un ácido nucleico de (a)-(d); o (f) un fragmento funcional de un ácido nucleico de (a)-(e).
