Abstract
Un motor de ciclo dividido incluye un cigüenal rotante alrededor de un eje de cigüenal. La lumbrera de transferencia incluye válvulas de compresion de transferencia (XovrC) y válvulas de expansion de transferencia (XovrE) que definen una cámara de presion entre sí. Por lo menos una de las válvulas XovrC y XovrE es una válvula con equilibrio de presiones. Un equilibrador de presiones de fluido desvía la válvula para equilibrar las presiones de fluido que actuan contra la válvula tanto en la direccion de apertura como en la direccion de cierre, reduciendo las fuerzas necesarias para actuar la válvula.
