Abstract
Un aparato para separar agua de un fluido de perforacion base aceite que incluye un tanque de separacion, un aparato para tratamiento químico que tiene uno o más tanques para preparacion de polímeros floculantes que separan el aceite del agua, y una unidad de flotacion por aires disuelto. El lodo recuperado se envía al tanque de separacion donde se le agrega un tensioactivo para separar el fluido de perforacion del agua contaminada con aceite. El fluido de perforacion se separa para su procesamiento posterior. El agua contaminada con aceite se descarga desde el tanque de separacion por medio de un arreglo de salida y se envía a una línea de tratamiento inicial. En la línea de tratamiento inicial al agua contaminada con aceite se le adicionan uno o más polímeros floculantes que separan el aceite del agua y se mezclan con la misma. Luego, la mezcla se puede enviar a la unidad de flotacion por el aire disuelto donde el aire disuelto se libera en el fondo de la mezcla. El aire disuelto se adhiere a los solidos suspendidos en la mezcla y los transportan a la superficie de la misma en forma de espuma. La espuma se separa de la superficie de la mezcla y es recogida por medio de un sistema de desespumado. El agua desespumada es reutilizada o se envía a un sistema de filtracion donde se condiciona para su descarga. Luego de la adicion de los polímeros floculantes que separan el aceite del agua se puede incluir un tanque clarificador para separar aceite de agua en forma adicional. El aceite se separa de la superficie mediante un cable desnatador mientras que el agua se envía al sistema de filtracion y disposicion.
