Abstract

Se describe un método de aprovechamiento de los biofenoles naturales tirosol e hidroxitirosol contenidos en los subproductos industriales resultantes de la molturacion y procesado de la aceituna, ya sean procedentes de prensas, de tres fases o de dos fases y de sus orujos y orujillos. Este método de aprovechamiento conduce a la obtencion con pureza mayor del 90%, de la mezcla de ambos biofenoles, con unos rendimientos comprendidos entre el 0.1 y el 1.5%, dependiendo del producto y la materia prima procesada. Fundamentalmente consiste en extracciones selectivas y fraccionamiento de las mezclas resultantes mediante disolventes.
