Abstract

Sistema y método mediante el cual una estacion flotante central de acoplamiento captura, eleva y acopla uno o más buques, construyendo así un sistema de produccion flexible y modurizado, en base a costo efectivo. Se combinan las capacidades de una cantidad de buques más antiguos, menos costosos y fácilmente disponibles para lograr una efectiva FPSO sustituta que permite explorar y producir en yacimientos de menor rendimiento de una manera redituable. Se reduce el horizonte temporal entre la iniciacion y la consumacion de las operaciones en yacimientos y buques más antiguos, que de lo contrario se descartarían o retirarían, y que vuelven a ser utiles y navegables en un ambiente de exploracion y produccion seguro y rentable.
