Abstract

Método para distinguir entre tipos de sensores de prueba electroquímicos en un medidor. El método comprende las acciones de proveer un sensor de prueba electroquímico que comprende una enzima y un aditivo químico, poner el sensor de prueba en contacto con el medidor para establecer una conexion eléctrica, aplicar un potencial de una magnitud suficiente como para iniciar una reaccion redox del aditivo químico y determinar el tipo de sensor de prueba electroquímico que se está usando sobre la base de si se ha generado una senal predeterminada después de aplicar el potencial. EI medidor está adaptado para determinar la concentracion de un analito en una nuestra de fluido.
