Abstract
Una junta aislante para ser utilizada entre piezas unidas en un conducto de desagüe incluye, por ejemplo, una placa metálica anular plana que tiene una abertura formada a través de la misma con una hoja de material dieléctrico laminado sobre sus superficies de lado opuestas y una ranura formada sobre las superficies de lado opuestas que penetra a través del material dieléctrico y dentro de la placa metálica. Cada ranura se extiende completamente alrededor de la abertura de la junta, y una capa de material aislante, así como también un elemento de sello, está dispuesto en cada una de las ranuras. Un sistema aislante entre piezas de pestana unidas utiliza la junta aislante en combinacion, por ejemplo, con u manguito aislante que es recibido en un agujero alineado de cada una de las piezas de pestana unidas, un sujetador metálico alargado que es recibido en el manguito aislante para conectar las piezas de pestana unidas con la junta aislante entre ellas. Una arandela metálica plana con una hoja de material dieléctrico laminado sobre una de sus superficies de lado opuestas es recibida en el sujetador metálico alargado con el material dieléctrico laminado a tope con una de las caras exteriores de pieza de pestana, y por lo menos un componente metálico que ejerce una fuerza de resorte también es recibido en el sujetador que está a tope con la arandela metálica plana.
