Abstract
Un proceso para la preparacion de urea a partir de amoníaco y dioxido de carbono en una planta de urea que contiene una seccion de síntesis de alta presion y una o mas secciones de recuperacion a baja presion. La seccion de síntesis de alta presion que comprende un reactor, un separador por destilacion y un condensador, y los gases que salen de la seccion de síntesis de alta presion se condensan en un condensador de presion media a 0,5-12MPa, al cual también se envía una corriente de carbamato a partir de una de las secciones de recuperacion, luego de lo cual al menos una parte del condensado que se forma se envía al condensador de alta presion.
