Abstract

Se proporciona una ruta estereoselectiva para un compuesto de formula (1) donde R representa H o un metal álcali; Ar1 representa 4-clorofenil; y Ar2 representa 2,5-difluorofenil. Un procedimiento para la preparacion de un compuesto de formula (1) donde R representa H o un metal álcali; Ar1 representa 4-clorofenil; y Ar2 representa 2,5-difluorofenil; comprendiendo los pasos de: (a) agitar una mezcla de un cis-sulfuro de formula (2) y un trans-sulfuro de formula (3) con 4-clorobencenotiol en un medio ácido en el cual dicha mezcla de sulfuros es parcialmente soluble, causando preferentemente la cristalizacion del cis-sulfuro de formula (2); (b) recoger el cis-sulfuro de formula (2); (c) oxidar el cis-sulfuro de formula (2) a la correspondiente sulfona; y opcionalmente (d) neutralizar el producto del paso (c) con un álcali.
