Abstract

Un compuesto de relleno-fibra, un proceso para su producción, la utilización del mismo en la elaboración de productos de papel o cartón y a papel reducido de eso. Más particularmente, se revela a un compuesto de relleno-fibra en el cual la morfología y el tamano de las partículas del relleno mineral se establecen antes de desarrollar el vínculo a la fibra. Aún más particularmente, se revela un compuesto de relleno-fibra de PCC es el cual se realizan las propiedades ópticas y físicas deseadas del papel producto de eso. Reivindicación 1: Un compuesto de relleno-fibra caracterizado porque comprende: (a) alimentar "slake" que contiene ácido cítrico a un reactor de primera etapa, (b) reaccionar el "slake" que contiene ácido cítrico en el reactor de primera etapa en presencia de dióxido de carbono para producir un talón de CaCO3; (c). agregar el "slake" que contiene bicarbonato de sodio al material del talón del reactor de primer etapa en presencia de CO2 para producir una lechada parcialmente convertida de hidróxido de calcio carbonato de calcio y (d) reaccionar la lechada parcialmente convertida de hidróxido de calcio carbonato de calcio en un reactor de segunda etapa en presencia de dióxido de carbono y fibras para producir un compuesto de relleno-fibra.
