Abstract

Transformación de plastos de plantas, más precisamente, obtención de plantas leguminosas transplastómicas fértiles, en particular de soja transplastómica fértil. Reivindicación 3: Leguminosa transplastómica fértil según una de las reivindicaciones 1 ó 2, caracterizada porque incluye al menos una casete de expresión insertada en una región intergénica del plastoma. Reivindicación 4: Leguminosa transplastómica fértil según la reivindicación 3, caracterizada porque dicha región intergénica del plastoma está situada entre el gen ARNtV y el operón rps 12/7. Reivindicación 6: Leguminosa transplastómica fértil según una de las reivindicaciones 1 a 5, caracterizada porque dicha casete de expresión incluye al menos, unidas entre ellas de manera operacional, un promotor funcional en los plastos de células vegetales, una secuencia que codifica una proteína y un terminador funcional en los plastos de células vegetales. Reivindicación 7: Vector de transformación adaptado a la transformación de plastos de leguminosas, caracterizado porque incluye al menos dos secuencias homólogas de una zona del plastoma de la leguminosa a transformar, encuadrando dichas secuencias homólogos al menos una casete de expresión. Reivindicación 14: Procedimiento de obtención de leguminosas transplastómicas fértiles, caracterizado porque incluye las etapas de: a) transformar tejidos embrionarios obtenidos a partir de embriones inmaduros de leguminosas con un vector adaptado a la transformación de plastos; b) seleccionar los tejidos transformados; c) regenerar plantas transplastómicas fértiles a partir de los tejidos transformados. Reivindicación 15: Procedimiento según la reivindicación 14, caracterizado porque el método de transformación empleado, es el método llamado de bombardeo de partículas.
