Abstract
Refinación de derivados pesados de petróleo de alta viscosidad y baja densidad API que típicamente no son apropiados pata transportar por canerías sin utilizar diluyentes. Se utiliza un reactor pirolítico de tiempo de residencia reducido que opera en condiciones que causan una destilación pirolítica veloz con formación de coque. Los cambios físicos y químicos que tienen lugar producen una reducción del peso molecular total del producto líquido y el desprendimiento de algunos componentes con el subproducto de carbono. El producto líquido mejora primariamente debido a una reducción sustancial de su viscosidad, a una mayor densidad API, y al contenido de las fracciones destiladas media y liviana, a la vez que se maximiza el rendimiento líquido total, las mejoras de la viscosidad y la densidad API puede hacer que el producto líquido sea apropiado para transportar por tuberías sin utilizar diluyentes. La presente se relaciona en particular con la reducción de las emisiones de azufre durante la combustión del subproducto de carbono (o coque y gas), la reducción del índice de acidez total (TAN) del producto líquido, y la reducción del contenido de sulfuro de hidrógeno de un componente o más de la corriente de producto. El método comprende introducir un vehículo térmico particulado en un reactor de flujo ascendente, introducir la materia prima en una posición arriba de la entrada del vehículo térmico particulado, dejar que la materia prima de hidrocarburos pesados interactúe con el vehículo térmico durante un plazo breve, separar los vapores de la corriente de producto del vehículo térmico particulado y de líquido y de la materia sólida subproducto, regenerar el vehículo térmico particulado en presencia del compuesto de calcio, y recoger un producto gaseoso y líquido desde la corriente de producto.
