Abstract

Una fibra para telas de unión por hilatura que comprende una composición de polímero de propileno (A) que tiene un valor MFR (1) comprendido entre 6 y 150 g/10 min y seleccionada entre (i) una composición de copolímero aleatorio de propileno cristalino o de polímero de propileno cristalino que contiene al menos 0,8% en peso de etileno y que tiene una temperatura de fusión de 153° C o superior, un contenido de fracción soluble en xileno a temperatura ambiente inferior a 10% en peso y un valor de la relación de la fracción de polímero recogida en el rango de temperatura comprendido entre 25° y 95° C a la fracción soluble en xileno a temperatura ambiente superior a 4; y (ii) una composición de polímero de propileno cristalino que tiene una temperatura de fusión de 153° C o superior, un contenido de fracción soluble en xileno a temperatura ambiente inferior a 10% en peso; dicha composición contiene al menos 0,64% en peso de etileno o una unidad de etileno o una unidad recurrente de alfa-olefina C4-10 y comprende: (I) 20-80% en peso de un polímero de propileno cristalino que contiene hasta 1,5% en peso de etileno y/o alfa-olefina (C4-10; y (II) 20-80% en peso de un copolímero aleatorio de propilenoi cristalino seleccionado entre (IIa) un copolímero de propileno con 0,8 a 10% en peso de etileno y/o (IIb) un copolímero de propileno con 1,5 a 18% en peso de una alfa-olefina C4-10. Dicha composición de polímero (A) se obtiene mediante una degradación química de una composición de polímero precursor (A) que tiene valores MFR (MFR(2)) comprendidos entre 0,5 y 50 g/10 min., siempre que la relación de MFR(1) a MFR(2) esté comprendida entre 1,5 y 60. La composición de polímero de propileno (ii), según lo precedentemente descripto, y las telas no tejidas que se preparan con dichas fibras. Dicha tela es útil para coverstock (material de recubrimiento) y panales.
