Abstract
Un diseno de lentes oftálmicos y disposición de modelación comprende una interfaz de usuario que proporciona funcionalidad para generar una plantilla asociada con un diseno de lente deseado a ser fabricado, comprendiendo la plantilla información de diseno suficiente para generar modelos tridimensionales de lentes, y modelos tridimensionales de componentes asociados que se requieren para la fabricación de lentes en una disposición de fabricación de lentes oftálmicos. La disposición incluye además funcionalidad para generar y/o especificar información vinculante, por medio de dicha interfaz de usuario, que regula el comportamiento físico de las características de diseno del lente incluidas en dicha plantilla de acuerdo con uno o más parámetros de procedimientos que afectan la fabricación del lente y la fabricación de componentes asociados en una disposición de fabricación de lentes oftálmicos. Los datos de diseno del lente y la información vinculante proveniente de la plantilla son utilizados para controlar la fabricación del lente del diseno de lente asociado en una disposición de fabricación de lentes oftálmicos. La utilización de la plantilla y diseno y la información vinculante facilita de este modo la rápida modelación del lente y las operaciones de fabricación de lentes con mayor precisión, reduciéndose de este modo el tiempo de Ciclo de Diseno, Construcción y Prueba del lente.
