Abstract

Un aparato para extraer aceite de la cáscara de cítricos enteros incluye una estructura y una pluralidad de rodillos horizontales paralelos que presentan salientes dentadas para perforar la superficie externa de la fruta entera. Cada uno de los rodillos se monta de manera que pueda girar mediante un eje que se fija a la estructura. Una pluralidad de motores se montan a la estructura, cada uno de los cuales se encuentra mecánicamente acoplado a un eje correspondiente de los rodillos. Cada motor independientemente hace girar el eje y el rodillo. El aparato además incluye un controlador para controlar en forma individual la velocidad de rotación de cada uno de los rodillos.
