Abstract
La presente comprende un método para monitorear reacciones exotérmicas en un reactor, donde uno o varios materiales iniciales generan una reacción exotérmica para elaborar al menos un producto, y por lo menos hay un gas presente en el reactor durante la operación pretendida o durante un desbocamiento ("runaway"), que comprende el siguiente procedimiento: A) medición y almacenamiento de una temperatura inicial y una presión inicial en el reactor, B) cálculo de la cantidad de productos y materiales iniciales presentes en el reactor a partir de un balance enérgico, C) cálculo de una elevación máxima de presión que tiene lugar por la reacción gradual de la cantidad de materiales iniciales presentes, y D) cálculo de una presión de desbocamiento a partir de la máxima elevación de presión que tiene lugar, calculada en el paso C) y la presión inicial medida almacenada en el paso A).
