Abstract

Se provee un equipo para transformar plantas que comprende: un cuerpo microporoso que presenta una superficie, sobre la que germina y se cultiva la semilla de planta hasta lograr un cuerpo de planta, en donde la semilla de la planta germina y es cultivada mediante la absorción de un alimento acuoso que es retenido en los poros comunicantes en el cuerpo microporoso de la superficie del cuerpo microporoso; y una solución portadora que contiene un gen, mediante el cual es transformado el cuerpo de la planta, en donde el cuerpo de la planta cultivada es transformado mediante la inmersión del mismo en la solución portadora conforme a un método de implantación. Conforme este equipo para transformar plantas, puede efectuarse un método para experimentar, investigar y desarrollar plantas superiores, con mayor exactitud, conveniencia, celeridad y eficiencia. Se provee un método para transformar plantas y un método para seleccionar plantas que albergan un gen heterogéneo de un cuerpo de planta originaria transformado.
